Details of Coverings for the Uhlmann Giant Umbrellas
Our umbrellas are covered with the highest quality materials to stand up against harsh weather conditions for many years. They are available in a wide variety of attractive colors and textures to match and compliment any setting. The fabrics have excellent shape stability (no stretching or shrinking) and have excellent resistance to wind tear-out. They also resist fading. The fabrics absorb no moisture and with our special sewing technology it is possible it to make waterproof coverings. They repel dirt, but are also washable and low maintenance.
Our most popular covering materials are Dolan™, a heavier acrylic material, and AIRTEX™, a light weight polyester material that is widely used in Europe for its excellent characteristics. Fire retardant Dolan fabric is now available in 11 colors. View or download our fabric brochure by "Dickson", a leader in awning and marine fabrics. Our AIRTEX™ color samples can also be downloaded.
Our umbrellas are very attractive. By the creative use of materials, colors, color contrasts and trimmings, they become a prime and pleasant focal point in any environment.
They are designed to be stylish from the most elegant to the most casual setting.
The quality materials that we use are highly printable, and offer perfect advertising possibilities for your business. We can print text, logos or any design on the panel of your umbrella or on the valence, further differentiating your business from its surrounding. We have a few samples on our "Printing" page.
